FROM TOP LEFT: ERIC COURTNEY – Reunion Co-chair: “I moved back to Ravenna in 1977 and have been married to my wife Margaret for 28 years. We have two daughters ages 24 and 22, both successful health professionals. We enjoy travelling and visiting our many friends from all over the country. I can be emailed at Courtney.e@att.net. I am looking forward to being with my RHS classmates at our upcoming reunion.” JOE SALAMON – “I live in Ravenna with my wife Linda of 32 years. I have 2 children and enjoy traveling all over the country. I hope everyone will do their best to attend our 40th reunion as I am looking forward to catching up with you all.” BILL SHORTS – Hey Class of ’69. I have had several significant changes in my life since our last class reunion. In 2004 after 24 years of marriage, I was divorced and started a new single life again. Boy how times have changed since the last time I was living alone. Some of you may know that feeling first hand also. In 2007 I decided that after 35 years of working and owning the family business, it was time to retire. I have started to travel, spending 2 weeks in Ireland in the fall of 2007, then most of last winter in Ft. Myers, FL. It has taken me the best part of a year to adjust to retirement, but now it seems to agree with me. I hope to see a lot of you in August of 2009 at our 40th reunion, as I know many people will be spending a lot of hours to make sure it will be a weekend to remember. FROM BOTTOM LEFT: SALLY KYLE LENTZ – “I live in Kent, Ohio and have been married to William Lentz for 29 years. Our daughter is 21 years old and our son is 20. We have two daughters. Erin, 23 years old is a 2007 graduate of Indiana University teaching Elementary Education at an inner city Charter school in Indy. Stephanie is 19 years old has just completed her freshman year at Indiana University and is majoring in Physical Therapy. I am really looking forward to seeing old friends and familiar faces at our upcoming reunion in August 2009. 40 years is a big deal so I hope everyone will do everything possible to attend this wonderful celebration” “…….Dream as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow.” BARRIE STAMBAUGH FORNER – “I still live in Ravenna with my husband Don of 29 years. I have 2 sons Judson and Chad, who is the father of my two beautiful grandchildren. I have one dog, one cat, 3 draft horses and 1 pony. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion.” PATTI MAZZOLA BUCHANAN – I live in Ravenna and have been married to my husband, Tom for 25 years, who is an attorney in Ravenna. We have two daughters, Alison, 24 – Doctor of Physical Therapy at UPMC in Pittsburgh, and Erica, 21 – senior at Ohio University majoring in Dietetics/Nutrition/Business. One son, Phillip, 19 is a freshman at Ohio University majoring in Art. I am a Loan Officer at Home Savings Bank in Kent and have been there for 24 years. “Please be safe in all your upcoming travels to Ravenna for our 40th!!!” NOT PICTURED: KAREN CAMPBELL FRANKLAND – “I still live in Ravenna with my husband, Larry. I work for the Portage County Board of MR/DD. We have 2 daughters, Heather and Gretchen. Heather is married, graduated from Mt. Union College and works for the National Park in Peninsula. Gretchen is divorced, graduated from OU and moving back to Ravenna. She is an RN at RMH. I’m still not a grandma, but hopefully someday very soon!
