It HAD to be "Government" day...Tort in a suit!

Eric Courtney sent this along. Here's Dominic "Tort" Tortorella doing his best to look "official." Sorry, but I don't remember who he was standing in for that day. Mayor? If you (or Tort, you should remember) why not show off your memory skills :) - post it here at the blog!

LAST PHOTOS OF OUR 8th GRADE CLASS

While looking through the photos of our 8th grade class, I see so many familiar faces who did not graduate with us for one reason or the other. I often wonder why they didn't spend their high school years with us, where they are today and what they are up to.
Our reunion is rapidly approaching. Those who aren't able to join us due to other commitments, we wish you a wonderful summer. Those who are attending the reunion....we are looking forward to catching up with your lives.

OK- WHO DROVE ONE OF THESE ? post your guess

Some one emailed this "test" to me. At first I thought, geez - this is for old people - then reading through the "test" I was stunned, it's offical (groan) I'm "Older than Dirt!" But, I guess the up side (besides still breathing) would be - if I remember this stuff, that means you all remember them and there ya go...we'll something to talk about at the reunion! See ya there - I'll be the one wearing my P.F. Flyers, chewin'crackin'& snappin' a stick of Teaberry gum, drinking a coke out of a glass bottle, with my roller skate key hanging on a shoelace around my neck! Older Than Dirt Quiz : Count all the ones that you remember not the ones you were told about. Ratings at the bottom. 1. Blackjack chewing gum & Teaberry also (my favs) 2. Wax Coke-shaped bottles with colored sugar water 3. Candy cigarettes 4. Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles 5. Coffee shops or diners with tableside juke boxes 6. Home milk delivery in glass bottles with cardboard stoppers 7. Party lines on the telephone 8. Newsreels before the movie 9. P.F. Flyers 10. Butch wax 11. TV test patterns that came on at night after the last show and were there until TV shows started again in the morning. (there were only 3 channels [if you were fortunate]) 12. Peashooters 13. Howdy Doody 14. 45 RPM records 15. S& H greenstamps 16. Hi-fi's 17. Metal ice trays with lever 18. Mimeograph paper 19. Blue flashbulb 20. Packards 21. Roller skate keys 22. Cork popguns 23. Drive-ins 24. Studebaker s 25. Wash tub wringers If you remembered 0-5 = You're still young If you remembered 6-10 = You are getting older If you remembered 11-15 = Don't tell your age, If you remembered 16-25 = You're older than dirt! I might be older than dirt but those memories are some of the best parts of my life.

You just don't ignor a call from "Chic" !!!

"I don't like making these calls, but you've left me no choice. You haven't sent in your registration and payment for the Reunion. So, here's the deal. If you send your Registration along with your payment RIGHT NOW, you can still attend Saturday night (August 8). Of course, you'll be marked as Tardy without a good excuse, which will require a stop by the office to pick up your "late pass!"" Other wise, you'll miss seeing these additional classmates: Barb DeYoung; Joe Salamon; Bruce Marvin; Bill Shorts; Melody Drugan; Pam Summers and Mark Bowen.

BROWN MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS PHOTOS

Here are more of our classmates from our 1965 Falcon Yearbook. Take a peek to see how much everyone has changed since then. (The remaining class photos will be posted soon.)

8th GRADE (1965) CLASS PICTURES (Akers through Dan Hartung)

Throughout these pages, some of our classmates have a "check mark" next to their name. Please keep in mind this belongs to Bill Shorts. Perhaps this means he was "sweet" on these particular people throughout our 8th grade year. Oh wait!....Most are girls, but there are a couple of guys with checks next to their names, including Bill's so I'm thinking this isn't the reason they are there.
The size of these pages limit me to posting only two per session. Please check back next week and often for more.....
