Dear Classmates: We sold our house in Ravenna as well as all our "stuff" in 2006 and bought a new 26' Georgyboy Landau Aclass RV. We have traveled the USA ever since. We are currently traveling landmarks of Route 66 in AZ. I would like to be on the list of attendees for this summer's reunion as we will return to OH this summer to visit family there. I am still married to Kelly (Berry) from Silver Lake, Ohio; 34 years. 2- daughters: Courtney E. Hamilton, 28, married to Rob Hamilton 2 years, living in Orlando, Florida Courtney is a Human Resources Manager at LarsonAllen Her husband, Rob, is a computer Programmer with Disney World. Dual Incomes, No Kids (Told them to enjoy it while they can) Michaelanne (Annie) B. Munoz, 26, pursuing her Doctorate in Immunology Research at The Salk Institute in San Diego, California. Single and surfing My wife, Kelly, has been teaching Art for too many years and wants grandkids and retirement. I have been working 32 years for 2 different companies, as the Engineering Data Control Manager. Want my 401K and retirement NOW!!! We lived in Chicago (Wrigleyville) until we had kids, then moved to the near suburbs, and now the far suburbs. Commuting is a bitch, but well worth it.

Okay classmates, let's see how good your memories are. Can you tell us who all these people are? I was there but I still had to dig deep in my memory bank to try to place a couple people, and I still couldn't get it without asking another classmate.

Ahhhh!

OOOOOooooo.....These three could have been, and probably were real trouble together back in the day, but hopefully we have all calmed down a bit since then. However, we hope all of their natural ornery dispositions haven't totally disappeared throughout the years. This photo of Mark Marini, Charlie Bailey and John Carnes was taken 20 years ago on July 8, 1989 during our reunion.

We have two daughters ages 24 and 22, both successful health professionals. We enjoy travelling and visiting our many friends from all over the country. I can be emailed at Courtney.e@att.net. I am looking forward to being with my RHS classmates at our upcoming reunion.” JOE SALAMON – “I live in Ravenna with my wife Linda of 32 years. I have 2 children and enjoy traveling all over the country. I hope everyone will do their best to attend our 40th reunion as I am looking forward to catching up with you all.” BILL SHORTS – Hey Class of ’69. I have had several significant changes in my life since our last class reunion. In 2004 after 24 years of marriage, I was divorced and started a new single life again. Boy how times have changed since the last time I was living alone. Some of you may know that feeling first hand also. In 2007 I decided that after 35 years of working and owning the family business, it was time to retire. I have started to travel, spending 2 weeks in Ireland in the fall of 2007, then most of last winter in Ft. Myers, FL. It has taken me the best part of a year to adjust to retirement, but now it seems to agree with me. I hope to see a lot of you in August of 2009 at our 40th reunion, as I know many people will be spending a lot of hours to make sure it will be a weekend to remember. Until then, may you all enjoy life to the fullest each and every day.” RD GREGORY – Lives, thank heavens! Stephanie is 19 years old has just completed her freshman year at Indiana University and is majoring in Physical Therapy. We have two daughters, Alison, 24 – Doctor of Physical Therapy at UPMC in Pittsburgh, and Erica, 21 – senior at Ohio University majoring in Dietetics/Nutrition/Business. One son, Phillip, 19 is a freshman at Ohio University majoring in Art. RAVENNA HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1969 40th CLASS REUNION DATE IS FRIDAY & SATURDAY AUGUST 7 & 8, 2009 Welcome to Ravenna High School class of 1969 Blog. It’s hard to believe it will soon be 40 years since we walked down the halls of good 'ole RHS! Our blog is an information center for 40th reunion purposes. It is also our tool for receiving changes and suggestions from you.
